Welcoming UChicago Students to DC: Spring Alumni Mixer

The Institute of Politics and Career Advancement are coming to Washington, D.C. in March 2023 with two student trek groups of 23 students. We look forward to UChicago alumni joining us to welcome these students to the nation's capital on Monday, March 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Please come mingle with fellow alums and chat with current students interested in exploring public service careers.

The Institute of Politics DC trek includes 13 undergraduate students (mostly first and second-years) interested in a wide variety of public service careers. The Career Advancement trek has 10 undergraduate students exploring climate and energy careers.

Appetizers and refreshments will be provided at the reception, and we are grateful to use the space thanks to IOP Board Member and AT&T Senior Executive Vice President Ed Gillespie.
