Bridging the Divide Info Session

Join us to learn more about the Bridging the Divide (BTD) public leadership program for first and second year students. BTD  is an urban-rural exchange program at the IOP that brings together first- and second-year college students to address urban and rural divisions throughout Illinois. The cohort experience brings together students from UChicago, Eureka, and Arrupe colleges. This year’s BTD will be a virtual experience where students will get to build relationships, connect with speakers from across Illinois, and participate in some of the signature activities of BTD like observing a political focus group. BTD will be conducted in a virtual format. Sessions will include activities like virtual dialogues, interactive discussions, and connecting with speakers. The time commitment will be primarily in Winter Quarter and early spring quarter. There will be a weekly time commitment of no more than 3 hours a week. More details forthcoming.
